About Trish MacEnulty

Trish MacEnulty has written novels, short stories, journalism, plays, and memoirs. Like her great grandmother and the protagonist of her historical fiction series, Delafield & Malloy Investigations, she even wrote a society column in the 1990s.

A former professor of English at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina, Trish now lives in Tallahassee with her husband and publishing partner, Joe; her dog, Franco; and her cat, Tumbleweed. When she is not writing her own stories, she writes feature articles for the Historical Novel Review.

Her writing often includes themes revolving around women’s rights, justice, and redemption. In addition to her passion for historical fiction, Trish also believes in the healing power of personal writing, helping others to deal with trauma or addiction issues through writing their own stories.
